Asinta's Executive Board Chair for the past two years, Don began his career at The Williamson Group after graduating from the University of Western Ontario in 1994, and he has developed keen expertise in employee benefits consulting ever since, with deep experience in the group insurance industry and a strong dedication to helping clients achieve their visions. As company president since 2009, Don leads a capable staff at The Williamson Group, regularly working with other Asinta affiliates around the world as well as being a regular fixture in Canadian group insurance industry elite advisor forums. In other words, where Canadian group insurance is concerned, Don is the gold standard. He lives in Brantford, outside Toronto, with his wife Lori and their two children.

Punter Southall, UK

John is an award-winning UK international benefits adviser whose more than twenty years’ experience includes design and management of benefit programs for some of the world’s leading global employers. He now leads the Health and Protection practice at Punter Southall and believes that the next five years will see tremendous advances in the use of technology in the sector to improve efficiencies and communication. John lives near London with his wife, four children and an assortment of animals.

ClearPoint, an Alliant Company, Seattle, USA

One of Asinta's key board members, Kevin is Managing Director of Alliant Insurance Services subsidiary ClearPoint. He brings 22 years in employee benefit services and international business, plus certification in Global Benefits Management by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. His specialties include U.S. companies with employees abroad and foreign companies with American employees. Kevin also directs of the ClearAdvantage Trust, which combines consumer driven healthcare with a robust wellness program to reduce the cost of healthcare and increase productivity in the workplace. A Portland native and an Oregon State University graduate, Kevin is a member of both the International Foundation of Employee Benefits and the British/American Chamber of Commerce.

Wendi Pickerel

Network Director

Every global business network needs an excellent central manager, but few are fortunate enough to have one as capable as Wendi. We’re reasonably sure that whoever coined the term “multi-tasker” probably had her in mind. Over the course of eight years Wendi has worked with more than 300 clients of every sort, teaming with affiliate advisors to help clients identify benefit needs, define project scope and coordinate the risk products or other resources that each project requires. Not that Wendi’s versatility should be any surprise; before Asinta, she lived in several Latin American countries, working on large real estate and economic development initiatives. Wendi holds a degree in International Studies from the University of Washington’s Henry L. Jackson School, as well as a certificate in Global Employee Benefits Management from the IFEB.
