US: 2017 Perspectives on Global Human Capital Trends

Deloitte Consulting recently released an interactive dashboard revealing human capital trends by territory and category. US Asinta Partner Kevin Overbey, Senior Managing Director of Alliant Employee Benefits, gives us his own take on trends in US benefits.

“In my opinion there will be growing demand for global digital platforms to help global companies, and their employees engage in real time,” says Kevin. He adds that globally, more responsibility for health, welfare, and pension will be pushed to the employee.

This in turn creates an increasing need for technology and concierge/advisory support for employees. His prediction is that these tools and services will be data-driven and will wrap around the person to help them navigate life’s challenges.

Kevin says, “Productivity and efficacy is a global business requirement. Culture is king, but the right analytical/data tools will light the path. It is clear to me that business culture needs to be nimble and able to iterate at an even more accelerated pace than it does today.”
