- The first stage of vaccination has begun, vaccines for 20.000 persons have been donated by Romania and the medical personnel have the priority to be vaccinated. Up to 20.000 vaccines will be received soon through COVAX system. Unfortunately, it is a small volume of vaccine for a population of 3,5 million.
- The Russian Sputnik V vaccine was accepted by the Authority to be delivered through a network of private clinics. In the past this vaccine was continuously rejected by the Authority as not being recognized by the World Health Organization. A large part of population will purchase the available vaccines through a private medical network.
