Howden Ireland provides employee benefits consulting in Ireland and is part of Howden, the international insurance brokering group. We work in consultation with our clients to deliver innovative strategies for a healthy, happy, and productive workforce.

We believe that employees are a company’s most valuable asset, and taking care of their well-being will protect the heart of a business and help maintain a healthy business culture. Howden’s employee benefits team will go beyond just sourcing the most competitive terms that suit each client’s unique requirements – they will provide a truly personalized service that builds a long-standing relationship based on trust and by delivering on our promises.

We know that any good benefits strategy begins by balancing the needs of the business, its people, and its budget. For us, it’s all about digging into the details and creating a plan that suits your aspirations, then finding the most cost-effective ways to achieve them.

For employers serious about attracting talent and keeping the best people, our consultants can help get the best from their benefits budget and help firms stand out. We’re also here to help avoid missteps and mistakes, assisting employers in understanding the legislative and regulatory complexities and any mandatory responsibilities that may lie ahead.

Jeff has worked in employee benefits for 25 years. He specializes in setting up benefit plans for multinational clients expanding into Ireland across a broad spectrum of industry sectors, including tech, asset management, pharma, and professional services in particular. Jeff takes a holistic and consultative approach with his clients and always listens first to better understand their business and the people issues that might be involved.

In a previous life, Jeff studied geology at St. Andrews University in Scotland and Trinity College Dublin. He hopes his knowledge of limestones will help him find the perfect ‘terroir’ for his retirement vineyard.
