Hong Kong COVID-19 Employer Resources
The Hong Kong government controls the sourcing and administering of the vaccines to the general public and will prioritize higher-risk groups. The Government has announced plans to provide free vaccination to Hong Kong citizens but has not made any clear statement about providing vaccines to foreign expatriates in Hong Kong. There is some skepticism around the different vaccine types: and concerns that some vaccine technologies may be inferior and/or prematurely approved. The Government has started a “Busting Myths about COVID-19 Vaccines” media campaign series to address concerns about the vaccines’ safety given the speed with which they have been developed.
