Healthcare

The growing number of cases globally prompted the National Health Agency (ANS) to cover the test for COVID-19. Treatment is covered given medical policies provide hospitalization and control of symptoms such as fever, administration of inpatient medicine, and monitoring by a doctor. Private insurance now also permits coverage for testing and treatment of COVID-19.

Life Insurance

Deaths from COVID-19 are for the most part excluded. However, a few carriers like Met Life are covering COVID-19 claims.
