Local authorities are monitoring cases of COVID-19 very closely. The public sector has a few cases registered. However, the government is studying measures to care for the population should the outbreak worsen. This includes arranging for hospital beds, wards, and facilities to care for those who become infected.
The growing number of cases globally prompted the National Health Agency (ANS) yesterday to cover the test for COVID-19. Treatment is covered given medical policies provide hospitalization and control of symptoms such as fever, administration of inpatient medicine, and monitoring by a doctor.
