- The impacts of COVID-19 – Specifically the effects of remote working, cautionary measures for employers, staff adjustments, cost savings measures, as well as the impacts on health, death and disability plans.
- Regarding renewals – There is an uptick around disability and an increase in the frequency and duration for sick leave. Employers should also be aware additional taxes on health insurance have been put in place.
- Retirement benefits – France is seeing an impact on the pacte law in 2019/2020 and more pension reform is under discussion right now. As these discussions move forward strikes are going to happen.
- Reimbursement for Dependents – France’s Social Security system recently introduced reimbursement for dependent care.
